Student selection

In the Master’s Programs, the following can be accepted as postgraduate students :

1) Holders of first-cycle degrees from national Universities and recognized equivalent institutions abroad (article 34, par. 1,7 and 8 of L. 4485/2017.

2) Members of the S.E.P., L.E.P. and S.T.E.P. categories, as long as they meet the conditions of the first paragraph of article 34 of Law 4485/2017, they can be registered as supernumeraries and only one per year per P.P.S., which is organized in Departments of the Institution they serve, which is relevant to the degree and the work they perform in the concerned Institution.

3) Graduates of the Faculties of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Nursing, holders of first cycle degrees from the national Universities or recognized institutions abroad can be admitted to the PPS entitled “Surgical Oncology of the Gastrointestinal Tract”.

4) A Master’s Degree is not awarded to a student whose first cycle degree from a foreign institution has not been recognized by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Titles and Information (D.O.A.T.A.P.), according to L. 3328/2005 (Α’ 80).

5) For the evaluation and selection of the candidates, the elements of par. 4.2, art. 34 of Law 4485/2017 additional criteria, which are defined by the competent bodies, as defined by law, are taken into account.
