Registration Documents

The candidate must submit the following supporting documents:

a) Application for participation in the P.P.S. (available in printed form from the P.P.S. secretariat and in electronic form from the P.P.S. website).

b) Short note on the reasons for selection and participation in the P.P.S.

c) Copy of degree from a Greek University of the same Faculty or a certificate of equivalence from DOATAP, in the case of graduates from foreign universities.

d) Curriculum vitae detailing the candidate’s studies, teaching and/or professional experience, scientific and social activity.

e) For the participation of the candidates in the selection process of the P.P.S. knowledge of a foreign language (at least of B2 level) is considered essential, which, when is not confirmed to be their mother language, is certified either by a degree from a corresponding foreign language university department or by possession of recognized proficiency diplomas of at least B2 level. (The level of foreign language knowledge is proven by the following ways: a) State Certificate of Law 2740/1999 as replaced by par. 19 of Article 13 of Law 3149/2003, b) With a degree in Foreign Language and Philology or Degree in Foreign Languages Translation and Interpreting from homeland or equivalent from schools abroad, c) With a Bachelor’s degree, undergraduate or postgraduate diploma or doctorate from any recognized institution of higher education abroad, d) With a Baccalaureate title equivalent to Greek Secondary Education schools, if it is obtained after regular study of at least six years abroad. The foreign language teaching proficiency license does not prove the knowledge of a foreign language (P.D. 347/2003). Applicants who hold the relevant license must provide a certified copy and an exact translation of the degree on the basis of which the foreign language teaching proficiency license was issued).

f) Two (2) letters of recommendation from faculty members or from their employer.

g) Photocopy of both sides of the police ID / passport.

The selection of candidates is made by evaluation of the supporting documents and an interview by the Admissions Selection Committee
